- (Novice)Kitesurfing Shark Bay, the southern end of Langebaan-A large sandy bay ranging in depth from a foot to about 5 feet depending on the tide, best kited in the south-easter (cross-on). When Cape Town is blown out this bay often get very busy as the wind is generally lighter in Langebaan and it remains possible to kitesurf here this especially counts with regards to Shark Bay where we hold the majority of our kitesurf lessons in Langebaan.
(Intermediate) Kitesurfing Main Beach, Situated right in the middle Langebaan town - whilst many levels kitesurf here it is best suited to intermediate and above riders. Langebaan's Main Beach often remains good to kitesurf when Shark Bay has no wind. This is where we hold our land based lessons.
